Each and every story is uniquely different, and that's what I'm here to document

remove all expectations...

I'm not about that show up, take photos, and never talk to you again kind of stuff. That's not an experience, that's a transaction - and that's far from who I am.

I won't tell you to hold still and smile. I won't leave all the planning to you. And I definitely won't be introducing myself for the first time on your wedding day.

I approach our time together as a friend, rather than just another vendor. I will send helpful guides, get-know-you questionnaires, and help make you feel totally comfortable in front of the camera.

My goal here is to create an experience that allows you to be entirely yourself, and creates timeless photos that make you remember how you felt in that moment.

... of what working with a professional photographer is like.

"what if we're awkward?"

Believe it or not, almost every couple I work with says this to me. But you'd never know through their photographs.

It's usually the first time in front of the camera for most of my clients, and almost all of them are nervous and feel a little awkward.

I promise not to just throw you right into it. I give you direction and guidance throughout your whole session, rather than the stiff poses which only make you feel more awkward and uncomfortable.

Think of me as more of a third wheel who just happens to have their camera. Capturing all the in between moments and emotion you feel towards each other.

The best photos are always the ones where you felt some sort of emotion during the moment it was taken -- and that's what I aim to capture.

I won't be just another vendor...

I hate the words "vendor" and "client" because to me, I'm here for you in so many more ways than just photography.

We'll FaceTime, text, follow each other on instagram, and plan your most perfect day -- creating a friendship that will last long past your wedding.

Plus, the more we get to know each other, the more comfortable you are in front of the camera and, therefore, the more your photos reflect who you are.

One of the many blessings my job brings me are all the wonderful friendships it's cultivated over the years.

I won't be another one of those that just show up on your wedding day.

How to book your wedding day with me

so. much. planning.

You've probably scrolled through a few too many websites by now... between planners, florists, venues, and now photographers it's easy to feel overwhelmed.

Besides documenting your big day, I make the process simple and as stress free as possible. To custom packages, to straight forward contract and payment plans, I make it so that you have one less thing to worry about.

INSPIRATION FOR YOUR PERFECT ADVENTURE

next

previous

Imagine waking up to birds chirping in the mountains of the pacific northwest. You have a slow, but meaningful morning with none, but your closest people. Then head up the mountains to the most perfect backdrop where you will exchange your vows in front of the ones you love. Ending the day under the stars and string lights dancing and raising several glasses to YOUR love.

All-Day Adventure Elopement

Love the water and want your engagement photos to speak to who you guys are as a couple? Let's rent a sailboat and go for a short cruise. I'll document you guys in your favorite environment while listening to John Mayer and sippin on champagne. Afterwards I'll follow you guys to the bar you decided to stop at before heading home all while keeping my camera in hand.

Engagement session on the water

Do you so desperately want it to just be you two and the officiant in the middle of Zion, but have friends and family nagging you to stay closer to home? Instead of compromising, head to your perfect destination, read your vows, and tie the knot. Then head back home and enjoy the love shared by your friends and family with a sweet reception party.

Have your cake and eat it too elopement

Imagine getting ready in the cutest little A-frame cabin. Then getting married in-between trees that stretch up to the clouds with all of your friends and family present. You end the night under a white canvas tent that's filled with the classiest decor. Clinking glasses, sharing big belly laughs, and dancing the night away!

Woodsy intimate wedding under the stars

No story is one and the same. Yours will be documented to share your unique journey.
